Farewell to Fr. John Sigler

For the past three years we have been blessed with the presence and ministry of Fr. John here at St. Bernard’s.

The archdiocese has now given him a new assignment. At the end of this month he leaves his present assignment, as chaplain at Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, to become chaplain at St. Mary’s hospital in Long Beach. That means that he will no longer be in residence here.

On behalf of the parish community, I thank him for his ministry here and wish him every blessing and success in Long Beach.

Fr. John, we will miss you a lot. You are a very kind and gentle priest. God bless you.
