St. Bernard takes first step in selecting a new pastor

St. Bernard's will host the first in a series of open meetings this week with Los Angeles Archdiocese representatives and parish organizations to determine who our next pastor will be.

The meetings give our church leaders a chance to voice their concerns and communicate the needs of the parish to the archdiocese as it moves to select a new pastor for St. Bernard's. Our current pastor, Monsignor Gerald McSorley, will retire as our pastor on July 1.

The first meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the parish hall. Visit our blog and Facebook page for updates on our parish's progress in choosing a new pastor.
