About Katherine White

Katherine White is St. Bernard Church's choir director. Her duties at St. Bernard include leading the 8 a.m. Sunday Mass Chancel Choir and organizing its yearly Christmas Concert prior to midnight Mass, among other events.

A native of Minnesota, Katherine holds a bachelor of music degree in vocal performance from Cal State University Los Angeles.

She is a former student of the late Rene Aravena, who served as St. Bernard Choir director until his death in 2004.

About tenor Sal Malaki

Filipino tenor Sal Malaki has appeared in over 85 opera productions with the Los Angeles Opera since 1995. He has performed solo roles in "La Traviata," "Madama Butterfly," "La Bohème," "Luisa Fernanda," "Der Rosenkavalier," "La Rondine" and "Fantastic Mr. Fox." He is a celebrated artist at the Cultural Center of the Philippines with leading roles including Rodolfo in "La Bohème," Tamino in "The Magic Flute" and Pinkerton in "Madama Butterfly."

About Grisel Dorosan

Grisel has performed before live audiences at various theaters in Los Angeles, such as Wilshire Ebell Theater, the Masonic Shrine Auditorium, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

Always including the Lord as her partner in all her endeacors, she first joined the St. Columban Choir. She was also a soloist at Our Mother of Good Counsel Choir for 11 years. Grisel is currently a member of the Filipino Choir at St. Dominic Church in Eagle Rock.

She has been a regular pianist for St. Bernard Church's Mother of Perpetual Help Mass and novena every Wednesday since 2004.
